Origins presents ”The Banquet at The Row”Luke 14:12-14 (New International Version)

12Then Jesus said to his host, “When you give a luncheon or dinner, do not invite your friends, your brothers or relatives, or your rich neighbors; if you do, they may invite you back and so you will be repaid. 13But when you give a banquet, invite the poor, the crippled, the lame, the blind, 14and you will be blessed. Join us for our inaugural event where we focus on the themes of creativity, activism, and equipping as part of the mission of Jesus! We are friends, pioneers, misfits, leaders, artists and innovators who want to dream and work together rather than alone in participating in God’s mission in this world. We are from different backgrounds and use different methods in different cultural contexts, but share the same passion to love, serve, and take risks to see others connect and experience the transforming love of God in Jesus.
July 23rd has been set aside to allow participants of our inaugural Origins Event to serve the city in which we are gathering (i.e., Los Angeles). We are currently in need of 300 volunteers to serve on Friday night.
